Raiding
General
Nexus has two very talented instructors and leaders, and a large group of fellow raiders to help you achieve your raiding goals! Whether you're a first time raider or a returning vet, our raid instructors will help you the best you can to get those clears!
We hold learning sessions for first time raiders so they can get an introduction for what savage raiding is like alongside a group of other FC members (so you can avoid all those Party Finder horror stories). It is highly encouraged that members who take part in learning sessions go into Party Finder (or even join a static) to practice what they've learned, and continue to prog!
It is necessary for those who sincerely wish to clear to practice in PF. Learning sessions are there to help guide you through mechanics, and to help optimize certain parts of your rotation during the fight, but without practice and reinforcement, it will be difficult to clear with just learning sessions.
"I want to raid, but I'm hesitant because (reason)..."
Hey! Raid Leader Yeri here! I totally get you! It definitely doesn't help that savage seems like this huge scary wall that only vets can conquer, but let me let you in on a little secret, I myself am a first time raider. I started raiding June (when 6.4 dropped), and I have cleared the entire tier. The only reason why I have is because I've put a lot of time and dedication into it! It is VERY doable if you want to learn, and put in the time and effort.
So if you have a genuine interest or curiosity, I highly recommend to give it a shot! It's possible it may be "your thing", but never had the chance to properly explore it. Trust me when I say that when you clear each fight, the satisfaction and the achievement of having done so, is absolutely worth it!
How can I get started?
First, reach level 90 on any DoM/DoW, with Endwalker MSQ completed. Without it, you will not be able to raid since you do not have access to the current content.

Then, get familiar with your class! Though our instructors can help, without a base to start, it will be very difficult to go into raids. We recommend joining the Balance (linked) discord which contain everything you would need to get familiar.
If you meet these requirements, then message Yeri with your intent on raiding! She will ask you a few questions and help you devise a plan to get your foot in the door. Raiding is no easy task, so a lot of self-study and practice will be included in the plan, but she will provide you with the best resources possible, and try and set up a learning session!
Please do not message her unless it is strictly about raiding. Violation of her boundaries will result in a penalty.
Statics
There is no FC Static available at this time due to a lack of interest and other priorities from the main team of high-tier raiders.
It is highly encouraged that members who wish to clear this tier either create or find a static for more consistent progress. If you would like resources for places to find statics, feel free to send Yeri a message, and she can provide you with some starting places.

Party Finder
Aether is the most popular raiding server on NA, so even if you are unable to play during peak hours, you can try and find something that fits your prog point. Parties will fill a lot slower outside peak hours, however.
Note: This late into the tier, PF is less active than usual.
What are the different types of parties?
Typically there's 3 types of parties you'll come across in party finder:
Reclear Parties - For people who have already completed the fight at least once, and looking to farm for loot.
Prog Parties - For people working through a specific mechanic to progress further in the fight.
Clear/Enrage Parties - For people who have seen the entire fight, and are close or extremely close to clearing.
